Three years ago, our sportsmen's club became a member of the Civilian Marksmanship Program or CMP. We thought it would be a good organization to promote the shooting sports and gun safety. One of the perks of being a member is the ability to buy certain types of ammo in bulk. Two years ago, with the very limited availability of .22 LR ammo, we decided to buy a case from the CMP. They told us to send a check and would send us the ammo as soon as it was available. The Check totaling $370.00 was sent on the 30th of July 2013. I just received an email from them yesterday stating the ammo was now available but due to a price increase we owed them another $42.00 for a case Aquila .22 LR's. I think this is total [censored]! They held onto our money for nearly two years and now they want $42.00 more!
What do you guys think of this?
