Help with Winchester 1884/94 question.

I'm looking at an older Winchester 30-30. On the tang it is stamped Model 1894, but on the barrel it is stamped 94. Is this normal or has this gun been re-barreled?

Re: Help with Winchester 1884/94 question.

Very few people ever take the time or expense to rebarrel those. Probably legit.
