Glock magazine problem

I bought a police trade-in Glock 22, and I really like it except for one little thing. It came with 3 magazines, 2 of which snap into place with one smooth motion. The third takes a pretty hard smack to the bottom to make it lock in. The 2 that work flawlessly have the number 3206 inside the Glock logo on the bottom and says Glock, Inc., Smyrna GA 9.13.94 between the indicator holes on the back of the mag. The one that takes a bump has no number and lacks the other marking entirely. Is this the wrong mag for the gun?

Re: Glock magazine problem

Check the plastic coat on the magazine where the magazine catch is. I had one once that had the plastic peeling back a little bit. It stuck a little bit before seating in. I tiny bit of trimming with a razor blade fixed this.

Re: Glock magazine problem

the mag with no markings might be an after market mag. Glock marks their products.

contact Glock, that mag might be a Chinese knock off.

Re: Glock magazine problem

It has the Glock logo on the bottom, and beneath the indicator holes. The top of the other two mags say Restricted LE/Govt Only, that marking is also missing from this mag.

I think the problem is actually at the top of the mag. It works fine if the slide is locked open, but not if the slide is forward. The bevel on the front right side doesn't look like it slopes down as far as the other two.

Re: Glock magazine problem

For very little money you can throw in a new spring and follower directly from any glock dealer .
