300 WSM

for those of you that use one what grain of bullet do you use? also what bullet you use? I'm lookin for something that I can use for Pa deer and bear and also elk out west. I currently use 180 grain Nosler Partitions or 180 grain Trophy Tips.I'm just wondering what everyone else uses

210 Berger, It has a high BC which equals good down range performance.

Re: 300 WSM

I use 155 Sierra's, and 165 Sierra's and Nosler's in mine. All three shoot very well. All are fantastic deer bullets. If I took it elk hunting I would go with the 200 grain Sierra. Tom.

Re: 300 WSM

When I had one I used 180 grain Winchester power points. Factory loads. They shot GREAT out of the savage I had.

The one deer I shot with it had some nasty looking holes in it. I wouldn't hesitate to shoot anything in north america with them.
