Hunting caliber ownership question/poll

In relation to some other threads on going I thought I'd ask.

How many (single projectile) calibers have you, do you currently have or do you intend to, own(ed) and use for hunting purposes?

Anything from small game on up counts. It must be used for hunting, but I understand that some game can be harder to harvest than others so actually harvesting something with it is not required. I'd also be interested to see the calibers, if you folks don't mind.

I have used 9 and have two in the works.
.17HMR (varmint/small game)
.22LR (varmint/small game)
.20 Practical (varmint (in the works, barrel on order))
.223 Rem.(varmint/small game)
.243 Win (varmint/big game)
.243 AI (varmint)
.25-06 (varmint/big game)
6.5x55 (varmint)
.270 (varmint/big game)
7mm-08 (big game(in the works, barrel in possession))
300 WSM (big game)

Re: Hunting caliber ownership question/poll

I have some duplicates but the ones I can think of off hand are these:

22lr
.243
6mm
.260
7mm08
.270
.308
30-06
300WSM (being built)
300RUM
30-378WBY

Have taken deer with all the calibers .243 and up other than the .260 it's more of a varmint gun. The WSM will be a bench gun that I doubt I will ever hunt with unless I take it for groundhogs. Just bought the .22 but I intend to get some squirrels in the near future with it.

Re: Hunting caliber ownership question/poll

These are ones I currently own, all but the 221 Fireballs and the 222 are big game rifles, though I'd not hesitate to poke a deer with either:

22LR
221 Fireball (One is a 700 Classic, one XP-100)
222 (600 Mohawk)
243 (700 ADL SS going to get the AI treatment)
260 (700 SS BDL)
270 (700 ADL SS going to become a 280AI)
280 (One Model 70 with Shilen barrel, one 760 Gamemaster)
7mm-08 (One 700 SS BDL DBM, another is a 700 SS ADL in a Ti stock, both are getting AI'd)
30-30 (Winchester Model 55)
303 British (Enfield)
.50 Cal Flintlock (One Lyman, one Traditions)
.54 Cal Flintlock (Custom made by my dad's friend as a wedding gift to him in 1986)

I've most hunted with the 7mm-08 BDL, the Model 70 280, and one of the .50 cal flintlocks. I just picked three of those up last week, so I haven't even fired a single shot yet.

Cartridges on my short list:

17 HMR
17 Fireball (maybe)
223AI
25-284 (maybe)
6.5 WSM (probably going to be my one and only wildcat, for now)
7mm WSM
300 WSM
338-06 AI
375 Ruger
45-70
