1916 Spanish Mauser Help Needed

I have aquired a model 1916 spanish mauser from 1932. The military stock was sporterized and they did a hack job on it. However the metalwork is good and it is drilled and tapped for a scope. What I am looking for is a replacement stock, either wood or youth synthetic. I am planning to fix it up for my daughter. Anyone know who has stocks for this gun?

You could call Sarco Arms in Easton. They stock a lot of military guns and parts.

Reading up, it looks like a Mauser 1893 action.

If that's an Oviedo stamped action, be aware that they have a reputation for being quite soft receivers, and hot loads are NOT recommended.

Some Spanish mausers were German-made, IIRC, and can handle a bit more snort than the Spanish-made variety, but either way, I would not try to push the performance envelope with that rifle. Just an FYI.
