Re: Remington Sub Sonic .22 ammo.

I use it in my favorite squirrel rifle. It's effective and accurate. I have 2 bricks. That should last a long time since I only use it for hunting.

Re: Remington Sub Sonic .22 ammo.

Buddy uses it for varmints due to neighbors. No louder than an air rifle but packs alot more punch!

Re: Remington Sub Sonic .22 ammo.

It won't have the supersonic crack so it will be quieter than high velocity stuff. I think the Remington Subsonic is around 1000 FPS

Re: Remington Sub Sonic .22 ammo.

Are you guys sure you are talking about Remington Subsonic 22lr? The stuff I have is pretty loud out of my 1022's and pistols. I still use ear pro. Some of the CB long stuff is really quiet.

Re: Remington Sub Sonic .22 ammo.

Rem. Sub-Sonic 22lr hp is rated at 1049fps at the muzzle. The bullet weighs 38 grains and produces 93 ft. lbs. of muzzle energy. Standard velocity 22lr is about 100 fps faster at the muzzle.
