value of Savage 99f ?

So long story short a fella owes me some money , and has offered me his Savage 99F chambered in a 300savage as re-payment instead of cash, I personally have no desire to own a 99f so I figured i would sell it and get my cash that way , he owes me $425, is a 99F worth that? All I know about it is that is has weaver mounts/ rings , and a 3-9x40 scope, its not mint , but its not beat up either, some small scratches here and there, by the way if any one is interested in the gun shoot me a PM

Scope brand is a big thing too. Quite a price difference between a Tasco and a Zeiss.

You would be ahead of the debt when you sell the gun. Savage 99 has a huge collector market. Snag it !
