Ruger American or TC Venture .243?

Looking at guns today at Altoona gun show, not sure which 1 to get, any one have these 2 guns in .243 can weigh in on likes n dislikes. TC is bout $50.00 more, is it worth it?

Have you looked at the Marlin xs7 I think you would be surprised and you would probably save some money.

The TC Venture's are great shooters. They are guaranteed 1'MOA, and I can tell you from experience that they held up to those standards. Without a doubt my vote would be the TC Venture.

Pretty much any budget rifle but the Rem 770 will do fine.

My aspirations are simple.
Send the kids to college, hunt, and own more guns

I just sighted in a TC Venture for a friend. It is a nice rifle and this one was shooting tight groups out of the box.

I think you should handle the Ruger, Marlin XS7, and the T/C and choose which one feels best to you... Pretty sure T/C has a rebate on them right now, and the rest is a wash.

T/C Venture without thinking twice. I own a few, along with the Marlins and I've shot/handled the Ruger. Like grovey said, T/C has a $75 rebate until next month.
