Low ceiling & fog does seem to change things a lot! I'd much rather hunt the rain/fog than a blue bird day, especially for waterfowl. Glad to hear there are some geese around @ MC.

My buddy and I are looking to take our 5 year olds out to observe their first hunts on Saturday since it will be warm. What are the odds of getting a no show goose or duck blind. Don’t want to get the kids up at 5 if there is a slim chance. Thanks

Possibly to get a no show goose blind ,but good luck on the duck blind.

Having one child makes you a parent; having two makes you a referee... Take your kid's hunting!!!

Anyone been up at Middlecreek this week? Was just curious if there are ample birds around.

Gave MC a call just a bit ago, Al works the desk and he said they're killing some geese outta the blinds. Saturday they killed 14 snow geese. Overall he was pleased with the number of honkers around the property.

I've spent most of my money on Waterfowling, Women and Whiskey.
The rest of my money I just wasted.

My friend Pete killed a banded Black Duck today in Blind #2 (duck blind) at MC. He also shot a goose.
