Flushed 4 wood ducks from a duck pond on game lands today in Venango County. Nice to see them again. Didn't see any woodcock yet.

I seen over half a dozen in a swamp yesterday in Lancaster county looks like their coming by force lol come on spring.

Good news there!! They are soon to be the money bird as mallard becomes more restrictive. Sure hope the woodies can handle the pressure.

Heard them squealing along the creek while I was searching for shed antlers on Sunday. Love hearing them!

Bigfoot saw me but nobody believes him!

Yep!! Starting to see them in my area this week too. Not many, but they are here.
Seeing lots of divers on local ponds too.
Just got all my duck boxes checked in time.
Love to see the return migration in spring.
No woodcocks yet though.
