Fowl Weather for the last week

Looks like it'll be some good fowl weather for the last week of duck in the south zone (SW Pa). I don't think many birds will be pushed down from the north just yet, but at least the locals should be grouped up in the big/fast moving open water.
I'm going to hit it as much as i possibly can. Who else is going to try to end the 2018/19 season with a bang?

Heading out tomorrow morning on an unfrozen pond (as of this morning). Good luck to all and stay safe.

It’s been really slow in my areas as of late.
No new flight birds. Very few locals.
Hoping for a strong push to end our season!!
Good luck all!!

Too bad today is Sunday. While I was out cleaning up the snow the sky was full of geese low, and looking to sit down somewhere. I suspect had it been a hunting day there would had been some good shooting. I have hunted geese after a snow and it the birds came to the decoys without much hesitation.

Those have been some good days for me as well. Also a nice warm day after a long cold snap always seem to be good hunts as well.

I saw more ducks yesterday than I've seen all season so far(on the roost, not while hunting), maybe the are finally moving. Few more geese as well, but nothing to get excited about for sure.

Ducks show up with 5 days left in the season.....greeeaaaattttt.

I hunted yesterday morning and only saw two mergansers that buzzed my decoys at light speed. I did hear two rounds of shooting at first light in the direction of larger lake that was about a mile from me, so I assume they were duck hunters. Since early December it's been absolutely terrible. I want to get out at least one more time and I'm not sure if I should head to one of the larger lakes in my area or hit the creek that I hunt.

I'm gonna try a creek tomorrow, see what happens. Hopefully the ducks I saw on a roost Monday hung around.....and didn't just stop for a rest.

So DM any luck? I scouted around today and didnít see anything. Also the larger lakes are iced up so looks like a creek hunt on Friday for me.
