Outsiders call us sadists or masochists; sometimes both. Others, mostly ourselves, describe our activities in romantic, even heroic, terms. We take ourselves very seriously and tend to forget that much of duck and goose hunting is fun and sometimes ridiculous.

The perils of duck hunting are great, especially for the duck.

I've spent most of my money on Waterfowling, Women and Whiskey.
The rest of my money I just wasted.

Yeah he's gunna make a beauty mount. Feathers are pristine. Only thing that'd make it more pristine would be some jewelry!

Congrats on the Beautiful brace stroker, that Drake Woody will make a great mount. What position will you have it mounted? Sure do miss duck hunting.

I've seen those bases with the simulated water, and I'd like to have it mounted just picking up off the water with some ripples or splash in the water.

That will be an amazing mount, had mine standing on a piece of drift wood. Congrats.

Congrats! Beautiful duck!

Rain didn't help our gang. 5 guys hunting, and 2 ducks to show for it. Not many on the swamp at first light and very few flying.
