Point of Impact Patterns

In the past I complained about the SBE 3 shooting high compared to the SBE 2 & SBE 1. So, I changed the shims in the SBE 3 to match the SBE 1 that has been my goto gun for 17 years. Now all 3 guns have the "C" shim, shooting some left over lead BB shot at 20 yards with the cylinder choke tube. This was free hand, just throw the gun up and pull the trigger.

To my surprise the SBE 3 POI is similar to the other 2 guns. Guess changing the shims made a big difference. I take back what I said about the SBE 3 being outta whack!

I've spent most of my money on Waterfowling, Women and Whiskey.
The rest of my money I just wasted.

BEST TO...take 5 shots with 8s or 7 1/2s to know point of aim. You can use the same paper and reloads. Just pull up and shot the dot.

Don't shoot brown ducks!!

It's good to own several waterfowl guns, you know, just in case one gets dropped off the boat or covered in mud then you have a backup gun. LOL
And Tealhunter, I've shot more paper than all the rest of you guys put together!

Now I'm confident the SBE 3, along with the other 2 guns, is hitting where I'm aiming.

The rest of my money I just wasted.
