Early Goose Seadon Opener

The crew and I did some scouting and found the X for day 1 yesterday. It was a good, fun hunt and we took 18 geese, with 6 having bands. Unfortunately for me, Im still looking for my first band ever.

That's a good day.

Too bad geese taste like sweat socks.....

An archer shoots his targets as far as he can. A bowhunter shoots his target as close as possible.

We scratched out 12 geese through the fog and rain before we had to pack up and head to a football game. Always a good day when you're yanking the trigger on some honkers with their feet down!

The rest of my money I just wasted.
