The 2018-2019 duck stamp has a drake and hen mallard in flight. In take off or landing. Not sure. Beautiful stamp. Speaking of our idiotic postal service. I had problem in the past with them trying to sell me the wrong stamps. This year they did sell me the wrong stamp. I had my two children with me. The post office was busy and I asked for the 18-19 current hunting duck stamp. Post master grabbed one from the book, rung it up and I paid. He handed it to me with the receipt on top and I left. When I got home I noticed it was the wrong one. I called right back. He said no returns and was being a jerk. So I filed a dispute with my bank. I also filed a complaint with the USPS and at the borough office. Took one day for the office to call me back and ask me if I wanted to exchange it.
Teal hunter all post offices should have them, they go on sale in July. If the real small post offices don't have them go to a big one. You can always go to the yellow pages and look up post offices in your county and call them and ask if they have them yet.
Not to hijack the thread but now that we are discussing duck stamps I have a question. My son turns 16 in the middle of the season so he is ok with the junior license, will he need a duck stamp when he turns 16?
On a related note.....if any you'ins have comcast, go to free movie section and search for "million dollar duck". It's sort of a documentary on the duck stamp competition, how it works and follows a few of the artists from start to finish. Also give a good history of the duck stamp program as a whole.
I found it interesting, but i'm a little weird.....
