Some action from the deep freeze

Just a few shots of some action and dog work during this cold spell.

Incoming canadas

A cool shot of a pretty good pattern.

Busting some ice for ducks.

A hen that got a free pass today.

A few drakes that were not so lucky.

The ice and cold has made for some of the best duck action we have had in years.

Zeke, Goosehunter, Dogface and 1 others like this.

You're braver than me letting the dog retrieve ducks with that ice. But all's well that ends well.
More great pics!

I've spent most of my money on Waterfowling, Women and Whiskey.
The rest of my money I just wasted.

Excellent hunts and pics as always.

Great post and pictures. Takes me back a few years to when I bred Yellow Labs and was 100% into waterfowl hunting. Spent quite a few days standing in freezing water in a pair of chest waders or in the duck boat and loved every minute of it.

Awesome post and pictures!

Congrats on the great duck hunt. Hope all is well with you and the wife. Just curious but do you still hunt with kadd? If so tell him I said hello. Take care. T.J.
