I helped start up a chapter that had dissolved in the 80s. It was hard work and a lot of fun at the same time. We did well and made a lot of money for the ducks. One thing we decided to do was meet every month, not just 3 or 4 in the fall. Doing that we always had good communications and some us made friends that are still good friends. I was on the committee for 13 years. We also started an annual decoy show at Middle Creek and working decoy in the water competition in one of the ponds. If you are a waterfowler, being on a DU committee can be rewarding.
