For the first time in a lot of years, looks like the weather pushed the majority of the birds outta here. My home roost went from 5,000 +/- to maybe 400. Boom to bust within a week. Once they go south, hard to get them back while the season is still in.
For those in the mainly "resident" fowl parts of the state, you probably don't see a huge change, but here in the SE, been a long time since the cold pushed them out.
Guess I should have hunted more in December......
Don't get me wrong, still some birds around, but not what were used to this time of year. Whats everyone else seeing?
Keep after 'em!!!
