Crazy

This forum is a shell of what it used to be. Kind of a bummer. This was always such a fun forum to interact with, stories, BSing, and continual ball breaking... Not so much any more. 3 new posts in like the last 3 days. LOL. Almost not worth keeping it around.

I'm very important. I have many leather-bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany.

Then post lol! Everyone complains about it but nobody wants to post their stuff. I'm definitely not complaining to you Buk, just a general statement as I'm sure EVERYONE agrees with you. If people on the forum wanna see a change it starts with "YOU" (everyone including myself).

I sat on the couch today after I shot 1 goose this morning, our duck season is over for the year. We get a big 5 day season after Christmas but many places aren't safe to hunt with the Bambi hunters out with the smoke poles. No way will I set up on a river with a good chance of getting shot at by accident especially hunting in all brown. How's that for a post?

Jethro,
I live on the North side. My daughters are grown. Grandkids are not interested.

I agree that it's unfortunate, I used to love checking this forum a few times a day - probably about 10 years ago now. If I tried to list names I would leave many out, but this is during the "Woodyhunter" times. The posts and many of the personalities were awesome. It's a shame the site crashed a few years back and we lost all of those old posts - I would love to scan through them right now.

I think spot burning and some members being seemingly outright resentful toward success caused some decline, and changes to the site layout, photobucket, and emergence of alternative forums all contributed as well. Some (presumably many) people have been banned. Everybody hunts now too with fewer places to hunt, which is reason enough to keep some things to yourself.
