Make sure you bring your board so you can catch some waves after hunting. The wind turbine will be sounding like a chopper taking off today.

.REST OF TODAY...West gales to 35 knots becoming southwest. A
chance of showers early this afternoon. Showers likely late.
Waves 8 to 11 feet building to 10 to 14 feet. Waves occasionally
around 18 feet.
.TONIGHT...West gales to 35 knots. Showers likely. Waves 10 to
14 feet subsiding to 8 to 11 feet. Waves occasionally around
18 feet.
.TUESDAY...West winds to 30 knots. Showers. Waves 6 to 10 feet.
Waves occasionally around 13 feet.

Remember, shoot straight and shoot often.
Good... Bad... I'm the guy with the gun.

Sure was interesting day, a lot high fliers. Rough water for sure, long day, They caught the wind just so and made all but impossible to hit. Normally we do a fair to good job of hitting them, but today we ++++ed at it and allot of birds lived to spread the word, LOL. Seen some very bad water, some guys are nuts. Tide was on the move or storm surge. Didn't loose any decoys but had a mess of lines at the end of the day, have one long line I still need to untangle. Glad I had extra weight along used over 10 lbs of extra lead to make sure the decoys stayed with in reach. One guy filled his boots, I got caught up in the action and forgot to take phone out of pocket on boots so now its wet. Time for a new phone!! ??

Checking out the channel is interesting on days like today. That much water moving in and/or out of the bay make it look like a river.

Did you gain or loose water? Nothing better than setting up only to have your dekes sitting on sand once shooting time arrives.

Remember, shoot straight and shoot often.

Hopeing tomorrows weather a little better, winds suppose to die down some. Was able to put a few mallards down yesterday but that's it. Had horrible wind in our face but enjoyed the day out. Anyone do any good up there yesterday or today?

Knoted down two teal, two geese Guys in the blind one or two got and returned it. We thanked him. Other goose had a wing up and took off like it had a sail. Broken wing made it all but impossible for the dog to see it going away in the wind. Not sure if blind 7 or 8 got it or not. Next time we'll have a boat also.
