Re: NAFA Lotting

Mine were

3 coyote, all 3xl-2xl DK-DBR 1-4 NC GD

17 Greys, 4 *SSL HVY
5 *SEL HVY
1 *SEL SEM
4 *I HVY
2*1 SEM
1 I-II SEM

7 Red Fox, 2 SEL XD-DK HVY
1 I MED FT
1 I XD FTY
2 I-II DK-XD FT
1 II DK FT FTY

A pile of coon ranging from XL-5XL About half NTH GD other half NC. And NC GD. 2 SEL, 1 *SEL, 3 *I, most colors were 2-3 a couple 4's and 5's. Might be my first time having 4 labeled coon in one auction and I sent in over 100 once before.

1 Whopping mink. LGE-MED *SEL BR NTH

And that is it. I did have 3 coon not show in the report. Not sure if they were damaged and discarded or what.

Re: NAFA Lotting

Forgot, all of my fox were XL-LGE. I have never had one that didn't make 28". Had a few that barely did though.

Re: NAFA Lotting

Same with my Greys. Not sure why, but all of mine, even early ones, usually grade labeled selects or labeled super selects. I have just never had any luck getting labeled coon for some reason?? I use wire, but also use a wood block with them to pleat. I still usually average good though. I was surprised to get 2 Select, heavy reds because they were all of my early ones.

Re: NAFA Lotting

The trick is to figure out the abbreviations. I've been at this for 4 years and still have to look up the cheat sheet.

I never saw a fox listed as FTY. Now I know it's Frosty.

Re: NAFA Lotting

Frosty is just blonde between the hips. Most of the ones I get here are very blonde like that.
