Storing lure and urine

What is the best way to store your let overs from this season. I have a good amount left over because I couldn't get out like I thought I would. Can you use it next year. I have carmans pro mix, regular urine, and a bunch of lures I hate to throw this stuff out.

Urine I toss. It'll turn dark and smell like pure ammonia. Lures and baits keep ok. Refrigerator or just keep them somewhere cool and dark.

Re: Storing lure and urine

Good urine doesn't go bad. Open the container and the ammonia smell will disappear quickly. If it smells like a sewer, then it's bad.

Re: Storing lure and urine

I keep urine & lure in the fur shed fridge.
Store urine, season to season, in glass jug.

With the recent cold temperatures, I left urine outside to freeze. After frozen I poured off a great concentrate with heavy smell that won't freeze.

Re: Storing lure and urine

As an old trapper once told me if it still smells sexy use it. Sewer smell down the sewer. I have urine that is very old and still has a very foxy odor. Just stored in the garage with temps that get to hot in the summer. Dark places are the key I believe.

Re: Storing lure and urine

Was poking around the parents shed this fall. I found the first gallon of urine I bought around 1997. It was about half full in a dark hot shed for 15ish years. It caught fox this year. Good pee is good pee. As said above sunlight is a killer.
