Big coon!

Talked to property owner last week and she was telling me bout a huge coon living in her barn. She told me the thing is huge and she's scared it will start killin her chickens. I thought her idea of "huge" is probably a 20lb coon so didn't think much of it. I set a couple DP's around the barn. Next day I had two 20lb plus sows in my traps and thought I caught her "huge" coon. Got a call from her yesterday and she told me I didn't catch the huge coon. Set a decent size box trap in a barn where the owner had requested last night. Went and checked my trap this mornin and apparently caught the coon, it destroyed my box trap!! Now I wanna catch this thing more than ever. I actually think it would destroy my DP's after seeing what it did to my box trap. Gonna try a "heavy duty" box trap next. Will post pics of this monster if/when I catch him!

Re: Big coon!

Hope you get him too. I can not get past the 31 lb mark. Have had 3 coon hit this wieght. The first coon I ever caught and, 2 the same year (1992 I think) when I ran hard for them taking well over 300 that season.

Can't, owner has like 30 cats so that's outta the question! My largest was 28lbs and I caught him 2 years ago.
