lock haven fur buyers

hey all,

I'm starting my freshman year at lock haven university this fall and am hoping to run a short line in the area. Ill go crazy if I don't get some steel in the ground lol. However I wont have the ability to skin and put up the fur. Just wondering if any one knows any fur buyers in the area that buy in the round or if there are any trappers willing to buy my catches off of me, price isn't important, just doing it for fun. Also I will travel about 20- 30 Minutes if needed.

Thanks for any input, Brad.

wanna be long liner

Just outside of town about a mile or two on 120 (towards renovo)is a trapping supply house. He could advise you best. I think it's Mikes Trapping Supply. It'll be on your left going towards Renovo.

Yep, that is the name of it......I'm not sure if he buys fur or not, but I'm sure that he knows who does in the area

Re: lock haven fur buyers

Just got back from lock haven moving our son in and he too is starting school there. There use to be a buyer years ago in Pleasant gap but the sign along the road isnt there so he probably isnt either. If you don't have any luck in the above mentioned place(Mikes) stop by Millers Gun shop and ask there they might be able to point you to someone.

Lock haven....where the men are men and so are the women. I prowled around that town a few times the Fallon house was always fun. I think there is a college there too

I'm from Lock Haven! Let me talk to one of my buddies and se who he sells his fur to. He might even buy the furs from you. I live right up the road from Mikes and I don't think he buys furs, just sells traps and scent.

Blend in or go hungry !!

Re: lock haven fur buyers

Milk house furs down near williamsport buys. I'd also get in touch with Bittner's trapping supply, not sure if he's buying or not.
