You can't make this stuff up.

I post this with some trepadation because I am not one to spread rumours. This one Is just to good to keep to myself. We got an ADC call today, a local preacher was losing cats. No big deal around here. Well as it goes he heard one of his cats screaming last night. He ran to the door to see an 8' lizard eating his cat. He called the state police. They refered him to the game Comission who refered him to the fish Comission who refered him to a local guy. He went out and found no sign. The preacher told his neighbor who called the old man. My first question when I got the story was if he seen it why didn't he shoot it. Well he doesn't own a gun. I didn't know there was a person in Armstrong County who didn't own a gun. (Need to talk to the sheriff to see if we can get one issued to him.) Dad told him if he sees it again to call him and we will be over. I cant wait for the call. Just when you think you heard it all. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did. I've been chuckling since 11am about it.

You sure that lizard wasn't someone's escaped pet alligator? Stranger things have happened, then again I might be watching too much Gator Boys lol

Maybe the preacher was tapping into the communion wine supply.

It's possible it was just in the paper about 4 teens that just caught a gator in shade gap (south central pa)

I started reading and I thought for sure this was going to be a mountain lion story. Maybe this big lizard is an escaped Komodo dragon?

Re: You can't make this stuff up.

The guy said it was not an alligator it was a lizard. There isn't anything besides a spring seep anywhere close to him. A cat in a cage and trail cameras were suggested. He had ten cats to start with he doesn't have any left. We need more bait! Longear it will be a live capture if at all possible. I'm really not thinking there will be much more that comes from this, boy I hope so though!

The horse farm down the road from my house has some new kittens they're trying to give away if you're looking for bait FEEB..
