trap recomendations?

I was thinking about trapping up in northern PA this winter. With my dad retired and my probabilty of seasonal lay off during the cold months...I want to try and trap in northern PA. My target animal where I live in SE PA is mostly red fox so I have traps for them. But I was wondering if you guys could point me in a good direction for traps that will hold coyote and bobcat. I have been looking at the MB 550's. Just wondering if you guys could point me in the right direction.

Re: trap recomendations?

The MB 550's will hold anything in Pa. Maybe need something bigger for beaver.

the mb 550's are awesome if money is not an issue. for the occasional use duke #3 or #4's would be a better choice. just my 2 cents.

MB 550's only have 1 disadvantage, kill area. Bridger #3's have it with steel screen pan covers.

Cold and snow + Bobcat/Coyote/Beaver = MB-650 Cast....If money is not an issue....Anything that hits that pan will be right there in the morning.

Re: trap recomendations?

I'm a big fan of the MB 550's, especially if mixed species are involved.
