Beaver snares/ cable restraints fur damage?

I have 0 experiance in this area. How much fur damage are you guys seeing from beaver and fox fighting the cable? I have a few spots that would work great for beaver snares, just don't want to wind up with a bunch of damaged furs.

Thanks

I've snared lots of beaver with no damage at all , also snared a few canines with no damage . you can notice the snare mark on the leather , but not the fur

The snare marks on the leather side of beaver, Does that hurt your fur price?

nope . a beaver in a conibear you see the mark on the leather also . I have never been a fan of conibears , once you get the hang of the snare it is by far the best tool for the animal .
