Re: bait pile

thought you might raise them and I am always looking for a cheaper source of feed
but I dont butcher them myself!
deer are fun, but a 250+ pound hog would be too much

as waylon would say,
dont go taking me seriously
cause i poked at you in fun

Re: bait pile

pigs are easier than deer. The reason I started buying them ready to go is the price of feed.

Re: bait pile

when you say "ready to go" you are buying a 250 pounder, ready to kill and butcher, correct?
I buy them about 50 pounds

I dont buy much at agway, just dont know any other feed mills around us.
Osterlings in Grove City for some things.
I have one supply of day old bread and finished them off last year with apples

Wrights in Zelie is where i go for slaughter, 220 pound hog last year, $86 cut and wrapped, about 60 pounds smoked

dont go taking me seriously
