OLD MUSKRAT TRAPS

Told my dad I started trapping again after 40 yr layoff. He told me my 2 doz. old Victor #1 jump stoploss that I got for christmas 45 yrs ago are still hanging inside the shed at the farm. Do you think they are ok yet or should the springs be replaced or is there some test to do on them?

Re: OLD MUSKRAT TRAPS

I'm sure some of the traps I use are older than that. I got them used 35+years ago, and I still use a couple of them. You'll have to wait 'till Nov to sue them though.
