Bridger 1.65 jaw spread

Could someone please measure the jaw spread across the pan and dog. Looking to get either these or some Sleepy cr. 1.75

Re: Bridger 1.65 jaw spread

Bridger 1.65s are 5 3/8 outside. If you want that size trap I would suggest the Bridger 1 3/4. They have a MUCH better pan system, come stock with a base plate and center swiveled. Same price. The jaw spread is a touch smaller than 1.65 not enough to make any difference. I know some high rollers that had trouble with the jaws not fully closing in muddy conditions with sleepy creek 1 3/4. They tried the Bridger 1 3/4 and had no complaints running 8 or 10 dozen.

Go with the Sleepy's, no mods needed. NEVER had a problem with the jaws, already center swiveled.
