1st cabled coyote

I caught my first coyote (with a restraint) today. Pretty satisfying. I'll post a link to the video tomorrow or monday. Tight chains!

Re: 1st cabled coyote

Having trouble uploading the video.... To make a long story short, I've had my certification since '06. I set a few cables for about a week last year; trying to catch fox and coyote, same trails same height. This year, I've run a couple dozen cables specifically for coyote (height). The coyote I caught was a female, that I beleive was in heat. I had a set of coyote tracks heading within 200yds of catch sight today, but it turned. Land owner said they heard own howling last night, and thought that I caught another. I thnk that it's just a matter of time before he/she comes down the trail. Ideal location!
