Looks like you got the cat in a CR. I always thought getting bobcats out of my traps was a ton of fun!

Bobcat, it likely choked itself out...could be wrong...but when i took the cable course the instructors said expect cats to be DOA because of their fragile throats...same goes with releasing them with a catch pole...they said the safest way is get the loop around its head and 1 leg to control them to release...


Couldnt imagine trying to release a cabled cat! I hate tangling with a barn cat in a foothold!
