I thought I snared a Badger (pic)

What a mess he made of a beautiful briar choked pinch point. A true one and done for this snare location. I did toss a Bridger #2 in the catch circle though because he had it stunk up so bad and made some tremendous eye appeal for me.
You could barely walk through here when I set it yesterday, and the area was completely flat.

Nice fox !
He did do some damage, the badger I caught this season didnt tear up the set, he tried to dig to china. Took me over 2 hrs to dig him out useing a shovel and a pick axe.

That's awesome #17! I had one in a 1 1/2 last year that did the same ting. Glad to see you got time to set. I was wondering how you've been.

Honesty is my only excuse.

Re: I thought I snared a Badger (pic)

This time of year I would have set 2 or 3 in that spot.

Re: I thought I snared a Badger (pic)

Great googly moogly, I thought the one I caught that dug a 1' deep by 2' wide hole was bad! Glad to see I'm not the only one that has that kind of problem. All I did was move the restraint onto the trail just outside the catch circle. Don't know if that was the right thing to do, but it felt like it was so I did it.
