Just curious

All of the animals i have are shot not traped but figured you guys would know.
Useually i dont worry with the blood but want to make a more presentable sale this year.
When you have blood on a pelt what do you do?
Brush it out.
Or wash it right before you put it on stretcher?
Thanks

Re: Just curious

Really depends how bad the blood is...

Damp rag...borax and a fur comb...just a fur comb...complete wash in water or water with a splash of woolite....all will work...

I wash all my yotes in woolite then rinse well...then brush em out...coons and fox unless real bad i just brush em out..but mine arent.usually real bloody...my.yotes get washed because they are always filthy...amazing what color they are and how much dirt comes out of them!
