Bottom Edge Mink

I tried bottom edge trapping for the first time last year and didn't catch anything but after watching Bob Noonans video I'd look for better locations. It worked!

I caught her at the bottom of the point sticking out into the stream.

Nope, BMI 110. It was a slender female mink.

Re: Bottom Edge Mink

Man, these bottom edge sets work great! I caught another female this morning in the same location. I thought these were bad weather sets but it's been warm and clear the last couple of days.

CBowers- The "bottom edge" is set at the bottom of the stream where it cuts around a corner. The bridge thing works as well like you described.

Re: Bottom Edge Mink

How would you compare Noonans video to the Ken Smythe video?
