I must be doing something wrong!

I have some coon, mink and fox sets out and I've caught one coon, but not a single fox!

I used full metal jacket instead of wax, I only dipped them once so I hope that's not it!

I did boil them good in dye and them after they were cool, I dipped them.

My sets look nice, but I'm not sure what I did wrong at this point.

the full metal jacket isn't doing it. I have all my traps dipped in that stuff. I like it way better than the normal wax used.

Who is John Galt?

Nothing like a good bird dog and a fine shotgun.

My guess is they just aren't on location. If your traps were bad I'm guessing they would probably get dug up

Re: I must be doing something wrong!

How many times did you dip your traps in FMJ?

I also thought if it was the trap, I'd be seeing some didgouts or something. There is some kid that rips around on a 4wheeler and that may be some of it too.

Thanks guys.

I dipped them once and thats all you need. It's not like other softer waxes; it's harder like floor wax.
