possums

let my 9th possum go today only got 12 canine sets out and 6 dp traps. anybody else seeing a rise in possums in there areas. last yr i only got 4 all season out of 60 sets.

Oh mine are released from the trap, just not alive. Until late season those things tend to ruin the most well made sets.

I dont think there will ever be a shortage of possums
in the US, google it and see how long they have been
around.

I released one this season, reset the trap and new lure and the zombie possum walked right over my foot to get to the reset.

Letting them go just means that many more next year...makes no sense

Letting go means most die of infection. Fox traps are tough on possums. Might as well take home and get 2.00 for them.
