pulling the line

Anybody else getting ready for the orange invasion. Last check for a few weeks. I hate pulling the first line... Numbers have been OK so far. The hurricane hurt for a while. Coyote numbers were OK, coons, I lost count weeks ago, reds were OK, not great, and I got a few greys.

I'll be setting the day after rifle deer season ends.

Re: pulling the line

I'm running mine till the Friday after Turkey Day, then I'm pulling them until after deer season is over. I want to concentrate on hunting deer, I don't hunt bear.

Who is John Galt?

Nothing like a good bird dog and a fine shotgun.

Re: pulling the line

I hate pulling my traps, but am going to at the land owners request, don't want to upset them as I would have no place to trap.
