Put it under the trigger not on the trigger.

I'm very important. I have many leather-bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany.

Re: Marshmellows on DPs

Some put it under, some put it on. Im using the mini-marshmallows and throw a few on the ground and a few in the trap, some end up under the trigger, some end up on top of the trigger.

yes. Better to make them grab the trigger itself than hope they bump it while digging out something under the trigger

Re: Marshmellows on DPs

I have been using the little marshmallows this year for something different. My buddy puts one big marshmallow under the trigger. Both will work.

Re: Marshmellows on DPs

i like the big marshmellows under the trigger,my thinking is when they try to pull it out,it fires the trap.i don't think they like grabbing that cold steel trigger( i know i wouldn't!).

Re: Marshmellows on DPs

This big fellow fell to mini-marshmallows and some moldy raspberries I had in the fridge. I think I added a squirt of fish oil too.
