Potter county Kitty

Today was the first day I took a camera/phone and I caught this guy; I hope I can get him in season. This is a horrible pick of him, but he wouldn't sit still for very long. He was actually the biggest one I've seen. He was big.

Who is John Galt?

Nothing like a good bird dog and a fine shotgun.

How exactly do you release them?

Re: Potter county Kitty

We use half a sheet of plywood with a notch cut out at the bottom about 4 inches tall and four inches wide. Plus there are two handles towards the top and you simply use the notch to slide over the chain and trap until your up over his leg. It's alot safer and easier on them than a catch pole. Plus you don't get a thirty second rodeo either. It takes me about a whole five to ten seconds to release one with the plywood.
