Trapping Hogs In Oklahoma

In September we began trapping on one place after game cameras confirmed that dozens of wild hogs were coming to our feeder there. Not one deer came to that feeder in three months.

So far we have taken 44 hogs off that property. Our efforts there may be paying off because the deer are starting to come in.

We do not shoot deer under or near feeders; hogs don't get the same consideration.

Wow, what are you using for dispatching, a 45-70 at close range.

Nice pile of pork! Good eating for the BBQ.

The horizon is your starting point.

Sometimes hogs bleed a lot when shot in the head. That one required two shots from my carry gun, a Colt .380 auto.
