Air skinning?

I have been seeing a lot of videos about air skinning. I was wondering if anyone on here has ever done it and if so how did it work for you? Also does it really save any time?

Re: Air skinning?

It's fun to do, but absolutely worthless for saving time. I blew up a coyote like a balloon last year, expecting the hide to fall right off, but really there was very little if any difference in the amount of knife work and pulling needed.

Re: Air skinning?

Ok thanks that's what I thought but I saw videos where it looked like the hide would fall right off the animal with blowing up that much with air
