Duke DP trap

My DP traps keep getting cleaned out, no matter what I use, as a matter of fact i had a squuirrel in one with both paws but others cleaned out. Using marmellows and oatmeal sardinge mix in other?

Try putting a tin can with a rock on the top over the top of the DP to heavy for squirrel and mice but coon have no problem getting to the bait.

Are you skewering the mini marshmallows on the trigger? Some sticky molassases smeared inside the trap may help you get the job done. Ive caught coon a week after the mice got to the marshmallow. As long as there is something sweet to reach for.

I have dp traps out with marshmellows and dp traps out with wet cat food havent caught a thing yet with marshmellows and ive been hauling them in with wet cat food

anybody try lucky charm cereal in there dp traps. just fig it has marshmellows and is cheaper then cat food?just a though? iv got 6 sets out just messing around trying some diff baits. i should just take the garbage can out and put a trap in front of it they have no prob nocking it over and digging through it.

Mice most likely.
Place plastic cup over DP or place golf ball on top. Coon will remove covering and work trap.
