Fox in coyote set?

If you make a set using coyote lure and urine, is there still a chance to get fox also?

More than likely a skunk or possum!

The horizon is your starting point.

Re: Fox in coyote set?

When trapping I used red fox urine. I want the red, gray, and coyote. None of the above shy away from red fox urine.

Re: Fox in coyote set?

I'm with you on that one. I dont use coyote urine just because I think it may cause a fox to shy away from a set.

Re: Fox in coyote set?

i dont think it matters that much. i use redfox urine and gland mostly too but have caught reds and greys in flat/scent post sets made with yote urine and yote gland.
little dogs pee where big dogs pee too.

Re: Fox in coyote set?

I figure if I can make a mock scrape for deer and use my pee in it and it attracts deer, bucks and does, using coyote pee isn't going to deter a fox from using it.
