Re: Disposable stakes?

duckbill earth ancors with 18" 3/32 cable. berkshire may work for some in soft ground, but i can't stand them. In the rockier hard and often frozen ground up North and in the mtns where i trap they are basically useless. They bend and fall off the driver in the ground.

Re: Disposable stakes?

i use finned super stakes with a pull out cable, more money but you get years out of them. i use them in bucks county farm lands to pike county swamps. they work pretty well.

the fox hollow super stakes are good also.

NRA,UBP,DU,DELTA

I use these as well. Unfortunately, they discontinued the finned super stakes due to slow sales. Buy them if you can find them....

Re: Disposable stakes?

Wolf Fangs, and since they are not currently available, I just sent for some dirt dogs, look like almost the same thing.

Re: Disposable stakes?

berkshires with 1/8 cable/never a problem in venango county.lots of rocks here, most "hollow" stakes have the driver stuck inside due to driving into rock.
