glad to read the replies so far. true sportsman you all are. means something when you wait for your target to be ready.
i realize i'll be told that by waiting not all fur will be prime , however a good majority of fur will be much better than it will be opening weekend.

Will be out sunday puting steel in, For years I got the same price for early coon as some people did for their late coon,same with the fox..

I will utilize every day I get for the outdoors

Waiting till at least the 1st of November. Only keeping large,prime male coons and letting all the others go. The rest aren't worth taking and maybe the prices will be better next year.
