Trapper ID #

I think i saw a post on here a while back about being able to get an ID # to tag traps. If so does anyone know how to go about doing it?

Re: Trapper ID #

I think you can use your CID number from your furtaker license. Hopefully some one can verify this.

Re: Trapper ID #

You have to contact the game commission. They will assign you a number. When I did it I had to photo copy the front and back of my current license and mail it to them.

Re: Trapper ID #

It's a pretty simple process.

Saves having to put too much info on your tags for the whole world to read.

Re: Trapper ID #

I think it's just easier just to have your name and address stamped on some tags. I ordered my copper tags from Larry Finch about 10 years ago and have enough to last me a lifetime.

The horizon is your starting point.

Re: Trapper ID #

To each his own. I however do not want some anti knocking at my door. The only way to find out whose trap it is is by contacting the Game Commission, it should then be handled by them.
