Homemade bait solutions?

Does anyone make thier own bait solution? What are the basic principles behind it? Can a solution also double as a trailing scent?

Re: Homemade bait solutions?

WHen you say "bait" you mean bait from living tissue or are you talking about building lures for spin fising or trolling? My dad used to do both but I never had the urge to participate.

Good night Chesty, wherever you are......

Re: Homemade bait solutions?

I mean the type of solutions that are sold to be added to fresh or tainted meat for trapping.

Re: Homemade bait solutions?

sure you could use the bait solution for a trailing scent if you wanted to spend that kind of money for a trailing scent......usually a bait solution will have more ingredients in it than a trailing scent.....so it would be more expensive

Re: Homemade bait solutions?

Do you think it would just be to much of the same since it would also be in the bait?
