Coyote hunting and trapping seminar

The National Pike Branch of the Quality Deer Management Association is sponsoring a predator calling, hunting and trapping seminar at the Starr Junction gun club in Perryopolis, Pa. On June 9, 2012 that will begin at 10:00 AM and run until 3:00 PM.
Guest speakers will be Kirk McKendree from 10:00 until 12:00 and John Wilkinson from 1:00 until 3:00. Kirk will be demonstrating calling and hunting techniques and John will be demonstrating trapping techniques.

Kirk McKendree presented by FOXPRO. Kirk is from central Pa. And is a successful predator hunter who has been calling predators into the call for over a decade. He has harvested coyote, bobcat, fox and raccoons. His predator hunting endeavors have taken him to Canada and as far South as Texas. His experience and accomplishments would include being Field Staff for FOXPRO, Hevi Shot and Boondock Outdoors, Pro Staff for Elusive Wildlife Technologies, judging predator calling contests, seminar speaking, writing predator hunting related articles, field testing products and placing well in predator hunting contests. Kirk has harvested coyotes in seven different states.

John Wilkinson grew up on a farm in south western Pa. And was always drawn to the great outdoors and began his trapping career at the age of 5 on one of his farm ponds for muskrat and continued to grow his passion for trapping until 1989 when he attended the FTA Trappers College held at Purdue University. John has over 40 years of trapping experience and has trapped in 7 states and Northern Saskatchewan. He has successfully trapped wolf, bear and Otter but the coyote really gets him going. John belongs to the PTA, FTA, and.NCTA, is a HTE instructor, PTA district 3 trappers school and belongs to the NRA.

This is a rare opportunity to learn from two very established members of the hunting and trapping arts so don't miss out.
We are asking for a donation of $5.00 to help cover the cost of the event. Lunch will be provided by the branch and we will have items for raffle including a FOXPRO Spitfire. Anyone who purchases a QDMA Membership for 30.00$ will be entered into a raffle to win a CVA Optima .45Cal inline muzzleloader. 10 entries needed.

If you have any questions, please contact Jason Beck @ 724-322-7549.

Or pm me on here

There will be an area for instruction also. Hoping also to have some trapping related raffle item avaliable.
